The visit aimed to review the latest developments of the project and explore opportunities for its future expansion and enhancement.

During the meeting, members of the Municipal Council and municipal staff reaffirmed their full commitment to supporting the project and providing all necessary technical and administrative facilitation to ensure its successful implementation. They emphasized the project's importance in promoting sustainable agricultural and environmental development and maximizing the efficient use of available water resources for the benefit of farmers and the local community.

The Municipality also presented the city’s key needs related to the project, highlighting the importance of expanding current activities to cover additional areas, strengthening irrigation and water conveyance infrastructure, and providing farmers with modern equipment and technologies that can improve agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability.

The discussions further addressed opportunities to expand green areas through the planting of forestry and fodder trees, contributing to environmental protection, the conservation of water resources, and the reduction of environmental and public health concerns associated with wastewater. The project was highlighted as an opportunity to transform treated wastewater into a valuable environmental and economic resource that supports farmers and benefits the wider community.
