Adh Dhahiriya Municipality Participates in a Training Course on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Social Accountability

Adh Dhahiriya Municipality participated in a specialized training course entitled "Using Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Social Accountability in Local Government Bodies," which was launched today at Al-Am Saleh Restaurant Hall in Hebron Governorate, with the participation of representatives from several local authorities across the governorate.

 

The training aimed to strengthen participants' capacities in utilizing modern technology and Artificial Intelligence tools to support social accountability processes, improve institutional performance, and enhance local authorities' responsiveness to the needs and expectations of citizens.

 

The course brought together representatives from Adh Dhahiriya Municipality, as well as the municipalities of Hebron, Dura, Yatta, Tarqumiyah, Kharas, Surif, and Bani Na'im, in addition to Beit Amra Village Council. The event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge related to digital transformation and the use of advanced technologies in local governance.

 

This training is being implemented within the framework of the project "Enhancing Local Authorities’ Responsiveness to Citizens’ Needs through Accountability and Advocacy," which aims to strengthen the institutional capacities of local government bodies, promote transparency and community participation, and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

 

Adh Dhahiriya Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to keeping pace with technological developments and benefiting from Artificial Intelligence applications to enhance institutional performance, improve municipal services, and contribute to sustainable development for the benefit of the city's residents.
