Police Conduct Traffic Safety Campaign in Al-Dhahiriya to Enhance Road Safety
The police, in cooperation with the security services and Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, conducted a traffic safety campaign in Al-Dhahiriya with the aim of enhancing road safety, reducing traffic violations and illegal vehicles, and improving traffic management to protect citizens and road users.
The campaign was attended by Colonel Saleh Al-Saadi, Assistant Director of Hebron Governorate Police; Colonel Nabil Hijazi, Director of Traffic Police; and Major Muath Al-Atawneh, Director of Al-Dhahiriya Police Station, in the presence of the Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abas Alawaisa.
The campaign included a field tour in the city center, during which traffic conditions were monitored, vehicles were inspected, and their legal status was verified. A number of illegal vehicles were identified, and the necessary legal measures were taken against their drivers.
The police reaffirmed their commitment to continuing traffic and field operations in Al-Dhahiriya in cooperation and coordination with the municipality and security services. These efforts aim to improve traffic conditions, regulate vehicle movement, reduce violations, and enhance the security and safety of citizens and road users.
Al-Dhahiriya Municipality emphasized the importance of such joint efforts in strengthening traffic discipline, improving road safety, and protecting the security and safety of the city’s residents.
