Al-Dhahiriya Municipality is monitoring the severe water crisis with the highest level of attention and responsibility. A crisis management committee headed by Mayor Eng. Ali Al-Awaisa has been activated and is working around the clock to monitor developments, take the necessary measures, and mitigate the impact of the crisis on citizens.

The municipality is conducting intensive and direct communications with the Palestinian Water Authority, the Governor of Hebron Governorate, and all relevant authorities and institutions, with the aim of urgently addressing the crisis and ensuring the regular supply of water to the city of Al-Dhahiriya during this week.

In this context, the municipality confirms that Al-Dhahiriya will receive its allocated share of water, while efforts are being made to compensate for the shortage experienced during the previous month, ensuring fair distribution and protecting the city’s right to its allocated water share.

The municipality emphasizes that the water crisis is currently its top priority and that it will spare no effort in following up on this issue and defending citizens’ right to access water. It will continue its efforts and communications with all relevant authorities until an urgent and sustainable solution to the crisis is reached.

The municipality will also continue to keep citizens informed of the latest developments and updates with transparency and responsibility.
