Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Reinforces Partnership with the Palestine Red Crescent Society to Better Serve the Community

As part of its commitment to strengthening cooperation with national institutions that serve the community, a delegation from Al-Dhahiriya Municipality visited the headquarters of the Palestine Red Crescent Society – Al-Dhahiriya Branch on Thursday, July 30, 2026, to discuss opportunities for expanding joint cooperation and to review the health and emergency services provided to the residents of the city.

 

The municipal delegation included Deputy Mayor Mr. Amjad Al-Hawarin, Municipal Council Members Mr. Bassem Ammar and Mr. Adeeb Wreidat. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Naeem Qteish, representing the Palestine Red Crescent Society – Al-Dhahiriya Branch.

 

During the visit, the delegation toured the center's departments, reviewed its workflow, and received a detailed briefing on the medical and emergency services provided around the clock. Both sides also discussed a number of proposals and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of services and strengthening cooperation in the best interest of the local community.

 

The delegation emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination and institutional partnership with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, reaffirming Al-Dhahiriya Municipality's commitment to supporting national institutions and promoting integrated efforts that contribute to improving the quality of services provided to the city's residents.

 

At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed their appreciation for this constructive meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint cooperation in support of the public interest and the advancement of humanitarian and institutional work in Al-Dhahiriya.
