About the Department

The Financial Department is one of the core departments within the Municipality, responsible for managing financial affairs and regulating revenues and expenditures in accordance with approved financial laws and regulations.

The Department prepares annual budgets, implements financial policies, oversees revenue collection and billing processes, controls expenditures, and prepares periodic and final financial reports. Through these functions, it ensures transparency, accountability, and the proper management of public funds.

  • Managing accounting operations and recording revenues and expenditures.
  • Overseeing the collection of municipal fees, taxes, and other revenues.
  • Preparing periodic and final financial reports and statements.
  • Processing salaries and financial entitlements for employees and suppliers.
  • Conducting financial auditing and oversight to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and instructions.
  • Developing financial systems and strengthening financial governance and transparency.
