"Our Old Home" Initiative Concludes, Showcasing the Beauty of Adh Dhahiriya's Old Town
The Ru'ya Cultural Group, represented by its coordinator Samah Samamra, concluded its creative initiative "Our Old Home" at its headquarters in the Old Town of Adh Dhahiriya. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Youth Partnership Forum.
The initiative aimed to empower 16 young women and girls by introducing them to the beauty, history, and cultural heritage of Adh Dhahiriya's Old Town through photography and visual storytelling, while developing their creative and technical skills.
As part of the initiative, a photography and videography competition was organized, providing participants with an opportunity to express their artistic vision and highlight the city's historical and heritage landmarks. The initiative also sought to strengthen the values of belonging and national identity among the younger generation.
The program concluded with the selection of the two best video productions created by the participants. The entries were evaluated by a media judging committee consisting of Suleiman Abu Allan, representing Adh Dhahiriya Municipality, and Raghda Maqbool and Ammar Al-Duraibi, representing Sawt Al-Shabab Radio.
The first-place winning video was produced by Rahaf Jabarin and Duha Khudairat. Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding creativity and contribution to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Adh Dhahiriya.
