Adh Dhahiriya Municipality and Chamber of Commerce Meet with the Director General of Police to Strengthen Joint Cooperation
Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa, accompanied by Mr. Basem Abu Allan, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Kamal Jabarin, Deputy Secretary of the Fatah South Hebron Region, Municipal Council members Basem Samamra, Adeeb Wreidat, and Ansar Qaisiya, as well as Public Relations Officer Suleiman Abu Allan, met with Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Director General of the Palestinian Police, at his office in Ramallah to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the police and the institutions of Adh Dhahiriya.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Saqqa emphasized the importance of partnership with the institutions of Adh Dhahiriya, stressing the continued efforts to enhance security and public order and to improve police services in ways that positively impact citizens' lives and support commercial and economic activity in the city.
For his part, Mayor Eng. Ali Al-Awaisa praised the role of the Palestinian Police in maintaining security and stability, reaffirming the municipality’s commitment to strengthening cooperation, particularly in areas related to city organization, the removal of violations and encroachments, addressing negative practices, and improving traffic conditions for the benefit of residents.
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Basem Abu Allan, also highlighted the importance of maintaining close coordination with the police, given their vital role in providing a safe and stable environment that supports economic activity and encourages investment. He commended the police for their field efforts and services provided to citizens.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continued communication and joint coordination to enhance the quality of services provided to the residents of Adh Dhahiriya and to further strengthen security and stability throughout the city.
