Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Launches Rehabilitation and Expansion Works on Shweika Road

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, has launched rehabilitation and expansion works on Shweika Road, one of the city's most important roads and a major gateway connecting Al-Dhahiriya with As-Samu'. The project aims to improve infrastructure, enhance road safety, and facilitate traffic movement.

 

During a field visit, the Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaiseh, affirmed that the municipality will continue implementing projects and delivering services across various sectors in response to the needs of citizens despite the challenging circumstances. He noted that the municipality will widen the road and pave part of it through funding provided by the Ministry of Local Government.

 

The Mayor also called on residents and landowners to cooperate with the field crews to help complete the project as quickly as possible, emphasizing the municipality's commitment to implementing development projects that improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of services provided to the community.
