Adh Dhahiriya Municipality Participates in a Workshop on Enhancing Energy Services

Adh Dhahiriya Municipality participated in a workshop organized by the Ministry of Local Government, in cooperation with the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority, as part of the React Palestine project, which aims to strengthen the capacities of local authorities and improve the quality of energy services provided to citizens.

 

The municipality was represented by Municipal Council Member Eng. Ismail Rubaa, Eng. Amer from the Planning and Projects Department, and Mohammad Jabarin from the Development and Investment Unit.

 

The workshop reviewed the project's key achievements and interventions implemented with local authorities, while also discussing municipalities’ priorities, needs, and the challenges they face in the energy sector. These discussions are intended to support the planning of future interventions and strengthen cooperation and partnerships among all relevant stakeholders.

 

Adh Dhahiriya Municipality's participation reflects its commitment to keeping pace with development initiatives and benefiting from programs that contribute to improving energy services, particularly as the municipality is preparing to implement renewable energy projects. The municipality also continues to invest in building institutional capacity, with the goal of enhancing service quality and achieving sustainable development for the benefit of its citizens.
