Al-Dhahiriya Municipality and Community Representatives Meet with the Hebron Area Commander to Enhance Security and Public Safety

A meeting was held between representatives of Al-Dhahiriya Municipality and community leaders from the city and Brigadier General Jamal Asia, Commander of the Hebron Area, at his office in Hebron. The delegation was represented by Deputy Mayor Mr. Amjad Al-Hawarin and Mr. Kamal Hassan Jabarin, Deputy Secretary of Fatah Movement – South Hebron.

 

During the meeting, a number of important issues and topics concerning the city of Al-Dhahiriya were discussed, particularly those related to enhancing public security and safety. The participants reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination among various institutions and agencies in order to better serve citizens, maintain stability, and address a number of negative issues affecting the city.

 

Deputy Mayor Amjad Al-Hawarin spoke about the current situation in Al-Dhahiriya and the severe impact of the closure policies and economic restrictions imposed on the city. He noted that Al-Dhahiriya is currently facing extremely difficult circumstances that have significantly affected the daily lives of residents and the local economy.

 

The meeting also resulted in an agreement to activate joint night patrols aimed at strengthening security, maintaining public order, and responding more effectively to citizens’ needs, particularly in the city center, which has witnessed previous incidents that require continued cooperation and preventive measures to avoid their recurrence.

 

For his part, Brigadier General Jamal Asia expressed his appreciation for the visit, emphasizing that it reflects the commitment of Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, community institutions, and residents to supporting the role of the security establishment in addressing important issues and enhancing public safety throughout the city.

 

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination in order to promote security and stability, improve public services, and contribute to creating a safer environment for all residents of Al-Dhahiriya.
