Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya Elected to the Board of the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste in Hebron Governorate

Adh Dhahiriya Municipality continues to strengthen its presence and participation across various sectors and national institutions. In this context, Mayor Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste in Hebron Governorate for its new term.

 

The elections were held in the presence of Mr. Ezz Al-Din Al-Atawneh, Director General of the Ministry of Local Government in Hebron Governorate, Eng. Abdulhay Arafa, Executive Director of the Council, members of the previous Board of Directors, and heads of local government units from across the governorate.

 

Eng. Al-Awaisa affirmed that Adh Dhahiriya Municipality is committed to maintaining an active role and strong representation in national institutions and to being an integral part of the network of cooperation with partner organizations and decision-making bodies. He emphasized the municipality’s belief in the importance of collaboration, participation, and joint efforts in advancing development, overcoming challenges, and serving the interests of citizens.

 

He added that the municipality will continue working closely with all relevant institutions to support sustainable development initiatives and enhance the quality of services provided to the people of Adh Dhahiriya and the wider region.

 

The election reflects the confidence placed in the municipality’s leadership and its ongoing commitment to contributing effectively to local governance and public service development at both the governorate and national levels.
