Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with Military Medical Services and Enhancing Ambulance Services in the City

The Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisat, together with Municipal Council Members Mr. Mahmoud Hawarin and Mr. Issa Al-Batat, received Dr. Abdo Abu Awad, Director of Military Medical Services in Al-Dhahiriya, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the municipality and national institutions serving the local community

During the meeting, the participants discussed several issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on enhancing and activating ambulance services operated by the Military Medical Services in Al-Dhahiriya. The discussions aimed at improving emergency response capabilities and ensuring the provision of efficient and timely ambulance services to residents.

 

Eng. Ali Al-Awaisat expressed his sincere appreciation for the important humanitarian and national role played by the Military Medical Services and its dedicated staff. He commended their continuous cooperation with municipal teams and their significant contribution to protecting lives and responding to emergency situations.

 

The Mayor also highlighted the vital role played by Military Medical Services ambulances during recent periods, particularly in responding to injuries and emergency cases resulting from Israeli military incursions into the city of Al-Dhahiriya. He noted that this cooperation has represented a successful model of partnership between national institutions working together in the service of the community.

 

Both sides stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation in the coming period through enhanced coordination mechanisms and joint efforts aimed at improving emergency medical and ambulance services, reducing the burden on residents, and ensuring rapid access to emergency healthcare when needed.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Dhahiriya Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining and expanding cooperation with national and partner institutions, believing that collaboration and integration are essential for improving public services, serving the community, and promoting the public interest.
