Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Participates in the Launch Ceremony of the Second Cycle of the Fourth Phase of the Municipal Development Program, Valued at €40 Million.

With a total value of €40 million, the Municipal Development and Lending Fund, in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government, launched the second cycle of the fourth phase of the Municipal Development Program at the Ramallah Cultural Palace. The event was attended by representatives of official institutions, program donors, and local government bodies from various governorates, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa.

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality received more than one million euros under this program, to be utilized for infrastructure development and key projects serving the city.

 

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awawsa, met with the Minister of Local Government to discuss several projects related to the city of Al-Dhahiriya. It was announced that tenders will soon be published for the paving of Shuweika Road and the implementation of Duma Road, funded by the Ministry of Local Government in accordance with the Minister’s directives.

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality continues its efforts and active engagement in seeking new projects and opportunities to support and develop the city.
