Adh Dhahiriya Municipality Meets with the Executive Director of the Palestinian Local Authorities Union
Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa, met with Mr. Abdullah Anati, Executive Director of the Palestinian Local Authorities Union (APLA), accompanied by a municipal delegation that included Municipal Council members Adeeb Wreidat and Lujain Al-Tall, Municipality Director Ahmad Qaisiya, and Director of Planning and Projects Eng. Lina Sbeih. The meeting was held as part of the municipality’s efforts to enhance communication and coordination with national institutions and explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed the municipality’s development priorities and needs. They also explored mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the Union and Adh Dhahiriya Municipality in support of local development efforts and the improvement of services provided to citizens. The discussion also highlighted the Union’s role in building the capacities of local authorities, representing them, and advocating for their interests.
The meeting further addressed the topic of international relations and partnerships, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in supporting local authorities. Discussions focused on opportunities to benefit from decentralized cooperation programs and partnerships with municipalities and international institutions, promoting the exchange of expertise and contributing to sustainable local development.
Mayor Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa expressed his appreciation to Mr. Abdullah Anati and the staff of the Palestinian Local Authorities Union for their continued cooperation with Adh Dhahiriya Municipality and for helping open new avenues for networking and collaboration with various institutions.
