Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya Inspects the Free Medical Day for Diabetes Patients

Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya, Engineer Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa, accompanied by Municipality Director Ahmad Qaisiya, conducted an inspection tour of the mobile diabetes clinic team affiliated with Al-Makassed Hospital during the free medical day dedicated to diabetes patients, which was organized in cooperation with the Adh Dhahiriya Municipality Medical Center with the aim of supporting citizens and promoting public health awareness.

 

During the medical day, healthcare services were provided to 40 diabetes patients through a specialized medical team. The services included diabetes screening, retinal examinations, diabetic foot examinations, nutritional consultations, an educational scientific lecture, and the distribution of awareness and guidance brochures to participants.

 

The Mayor praised the efforts of all partner institutions and healthcare organizations that continue to work under these difficult circumstances to support and assist citizens. He emphasized the importance of joint cooperation in providing healthcare services that help ease the burdens faced by the community.

 

Engineer Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa also noted that the coming period will witness the organization of additional free medical days in various healthcare fields, aimed at serving citizens and providing them with the necessary medical care.
