Distribution of Firefighting Equipment and Certificates to Adh Dhahiriya – Shuweika Civil Defense Volunteers

Today, Khirbet Shuweika witnessed the distribution of firefighting equipment and certificates to the Adh Dhahiriya – Shuweika Civil Defense volunteers, in the presence of Brigadier Khalifa Al-Talahmeh, the Director of Adh Dhahiriya Civil Defense, the Director of Dura Civil Defense, and Training Director Muhannad Zagharnah, alongside the Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya, Engineer Ali Abbas Al-Shabaan, members of the municipal council, representatives of the Fatah Movement in Adh Dhahiriya, and a large gathering of residents from Khirbet Shuweika.

 

This step came as a culmination of the significant efforts made throughout the volunteers’ training period, aiming to strengthen the readiness of volunteer teams and enhance their ability to serve the local community and respond efficiently and responsibly to emergency situations, contributing to the protection of citizens and the promotion of public safety.

 

The attendees emphasized the importance of volunteer work and its major role in serving the community, praising the spirit of cooperation and dedication demonstrated by the volunteers during the training period and their commitment to acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to serve their city and community.

 

The Mayor of Adh Dhahiriya and the Director of Civil Defense in Hebron Governorate also extended their gratitude and appreciation to Diwan Al-Shiyab for their outstanding role in the success of the volunteer training course through continuous support, follow-up, and encouragement. They were described as the true backbone of this volunteer team in Shuweika, reflecting their strong belief in the importance of volunteerism, community service, and strengthening the values of cooperation and giving among community members.
