A Distinguished Volunteer Initiative in Al-Dhahiriya Reflects the Spirit of Cooperation and Belonging

In a scene that reflected the spirit of belonging and community responsibility, and in the presence of the Mayor and members of Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, Civil Defense volunteers in the city of Al-Dhahiriya, with active participation from Diwan Al-Shiyab and the municipality staff, carried out a distinguished volunteer initiative along the main street. The activity included watering trees, cleaning them, and painting them with special protective materials in order to preserve them and present the city in its best appearance.

 

This initiative embodied the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among institutions and residents of the city, reaffirming the importance of preserving the environment and the civilized appearance of Al-Dhahiriya, while also promoting the culture of volunteer work and community service that reflects the awareness and commitment of the city’s people.

 

The Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa, emphasized the significant role played by Diwan Al-Shiyab in the city, noting that it has long been a symbol of national, social, and humanitarian initiatives through its continuous presence and participation in various activities and events that serve the people of the city and strengthen the values of solidarity and mutual respect among its residents.

 

He added that Diwan Al-Shiyab represents an honorable model in supporting volunteer work and community initiatives, and that its participation had a major impact on the success of this initiative.

 

At the conclusion of the event, Al-Dhahiriya Municipality expressed its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Civil Defense volunteers, Diwan Al-Shiyab, and everyone who contributed to and participated in this meaningful initiative, wishing continued progress and prosperity for the beloved city of Al-Dhahiriya, and hoping it remains a lasting model of giving, cooperation, and collective community work.
