The Launch of the New Municipal Council Under the Slogan “Dhahiriya First”

In the first session of the new Municipal Council of Dhahiriya Municipality, which was opened by the oldest council member, Engineer Ismail Rabaa, the members emphasized the importance of working in a spirit of teamwork and unity, and reaching consensus on everything that serves the interests of the city of Dhahiriya and its residents. This comes as part of continuing the journey of development, progress, and dedicated work, which represents the ultimate goal everyone seeks in serving the people of the city and enhancing its path of growth and advancement.

 

During the session, Engineer Ali Abbas Al-Shabaan was unanimously elected as President of Dhahiriya Municipality. Mr. Amjad Ahmad Al-Hawarin was also unanimously selected as Vice President of the Municipality, while Mr. Ansar Issa Al-Qaysiyah was assigned the financial affairs portfolio. In addition, the remaining committees and responsibilities were distributed among the council members in a way that promotes cooperation, integration, and joint responsibility in serving the city and its people.

 

The members of the Municipal Council affirmed that the upcoming phase will focus on sincere and responsible work, placing the interests of citizens as the highest priority, and working toward improving services and advancing development across the city under the slogan: “Dhahiriya First.”

 

The council also expressed its appreciation and confidence in the people of Dhahiriya, affirming their commitment to meeting expectations and exerting every possible effort to serve the residents of the city, strengthen the spirit of cooperation and construction, and continue the journey of development and giving for the benefit of Dhahiriya and its honorable people.
