Al-Dhahiriya Governmental Hospital

A delegation from the Municipality of Al-Dhahiriya, including Mayor Ali Abbas Al-Awaisa, members of the Municipal Council, and representatives from the Planning and Projects Department, visited Al-Dhahiriya Governmental Hospital, accompanied by the hospital's director, Dr. Nasser Makharza.

During the visit, discussions focused on the second phase of the hospital's renovation. The hospital requires upgrades and the addition of new services, including an operating room, an expanded obstetrics and gynecology department, an internal medicine and pediatrics department, an upgraded emergency department, specialized outpatient clinics, and the installation of elevators. The mayor emphasized that the municipality is coordinating with the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) regarding the details and phases of the project. He also noted that the Municipal Council has decided to construct a roundabout near the hospital intersection, which will help regulate traffic flow and improve the area's aesthetics.

Al-Awaisa stated that the Municipal Council's plan aims to develop all areas of the city to better serve its residents and alleviate their burdens.

Dr. Nasser Makharza expressed his gratitude to the Al-Dhahiriya Municipality for its diligent and ongoing support of the Al-Dhahiriya Governmental Hospital renovation project.
