Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Signs Agreement to Begin Finishing Works of Al-Dhahiriya Governmental Hospital and Upgrade Its Healthcare Services

In a strategic step that reflects Al-Dhahiriya Municipality’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare sector and improving essential services for citizens, an agreement has been signed to begin the finishing works of Al-Dhahiriya Governmental Hospital. This project is considered one of the key and high-impact initiatives at the level of the city and its surrounding areas.

 

The project aims to enhance the efficiency of healthcare infrastructure and elevate the quality of medical services in line with the growing needs of the population. It will also strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a modern and safe medical environment.

 

The project includes several major development components, such as establishing and equipping a modern operating room, upgrading the maternity and gynecology department in accordance with recognized medical standards, and adding internal medicine and pediatric departments to expand the scope of healthcare services. It also involves upgrading the emergency department to improve its readiness and responsiveness, establishing specialized outpatient clinics to offer diverse medical services, and installing modern elevators to facilitate the movement of patients and medical staff within the hospital.

 

This project is expected to significantly improve the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens and reduce the need for referrals to hospitals outside the city. It will also contribute to strengthening the resilience and operational efficiency of the local healthcare system.
