A Remarkable Humanitarian Case Successfully Managed at Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Medical Center.

In a humanitarian situation that reflects high readiness and rapid response, the emergency department at Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Medical Center received a pregnant woman who arrived in a very advanced stage of labor, requiring immediate and precise medical intervention.

The case was promptly assessed by the emergency physician, Dr. Ghassan Abu Sharkh, with the support of nurse Musab Wreidat. It was determined that the patient had full cervical dilation without rupture of membranes, necessitating swift medical action to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.

 

 

With high professionalism and skill, an amniotomy (artificial rupture of membranes) was performed, followed by the successful completion of the delivery. The newborn was delivered safely, the umbilical cord was cut, and the placenta was fully delivered, while ensuring the stability and well-being of both mother and child, who were in excellent health, thanks to God.

 

 

Subsequently, the mother and her newborn were transferred to a safe delivery center to complete the necessary medical procedures and follow-up care.
