Land Authority

As part of ongoing efforts to address vital projects and issues of public interest, the Mayor of Al-Dhahiriya, Eng. Ali Al-Awaisa, and a delegation from the municipality met with the Head of the Land Authority, His Excellency Counselor Alaa Al-Tamimi, at the Land Authority headquarters in Ramallah.

Mayor Al-Awaisa, accompanied by Municipal Council Member Akram Abu Allan, Procurement Unit Director Mujahid Al-Tal, and Engineering Department Director Eng. Yousef Awaisa, met with His Excellency Counselor Alaa Al-Tamimi, Director General of the Land Authority Samer Odeh, and Director General of Settlement Qassem Kanaan to discuss several issues related to the ongoing land settlement project in the city, as well as to follow up on a request to allocate a plot of land for the construction of a government offices building.

The mayor explained the problems and challenges facing the settlement project and requested full support for the settlement office to meet citizens' needs, facilitate their transactions, and protect their rights and properties.

For his part, His Excellency Counselor Alaa Al-Tamimi welcomed the Al-Dhahiriya delegation and pledged to overcome all obstacles facing the settlement project by providing the Al-Dhahiriya settlement office with the necessary technical staff and logistical equipment to expedite the project. His Excellency the Municipal Advisor was also briefed on the latest developments regarding the allocation of the proposed plot of land for the establishment of the government departments complex, and he made arrangements and coordination with the government departments and relevant parties to facilitate all procedures related to this.
