Al-Dahrieh Municipality Signs Agreement to Establish a Joint Coordination Committee with the South Hebron Chamber of Commerce

As part of efforts to strengthen partnership and cooperation between local authorities and the economic sector, Mayor of Al-Dahrieh Municipality, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaiseh, signed on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, an agreement to establish a permanent joint consultative and coordination committee with the South Hebron Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, alongside a number of municipalities and local councils in southern Hebron.

 

The agreement was signed in the presence and participation of the Chairman of the South Hebron Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mr. Basem Abu Allan, as well as heads of several local authorities in the area.

 

The committee aims to enhance joint cooperation and coordination between the Chamber and local authorities, facilitate access for citizens and beneficiaries to the Chamber’s projects and programs, and conduct joint needs assessments, identify development priorities, and develop joint projects and initiatives that respond to the needs of local communities.

 

This step reflects the importance of unifying efforts and strengthening partnerships among local and economic institutions, contributing to economic and social development, improving services and programs provided to citizens, and supporting Al-Dahrieh City and its residents.
