Al-Dahrieh Municipality Continues Work on the Shweikeh Road Project to Improve Traffic and Provide a Vital Route for the City
Al-Dahrieh Municipality continues implementing the Shweikeh Road Project, one of the city’s important infrastructure projects. Under the current circumstances, the road has become a vital route for movement and transportation, particularly following the closure of several roads leading to Al-Dahrieh by the Israeli occupation.
As part of the municipality’s ongoing field monitoring, Mayor Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaiseh, accompanied by Municipal Council Members Eng. Ismail Rabaa and Mr. Bassam Ammar, conducted a field tour of the project area to review the progress of work, follow up on the implementation stages, and identify key needs and challenges.
The Mayor stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of the project and completing the required works, given the significance of Shweikeh Road in improving citizens’ mobility, facilitating access to the city, strengthening the road network, and providing a vital route serving residents and surrounding areas.
Eng. Al-Awaiseh also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing teams and Al-Dahrieh Municipality staff, commending their continued cooperation and efforts to accelerate the pace of work. He emphasized that the municipality will continue to closely monitor the project until its completion and ensure that it serves the needs of citizens.
