Al-Dahrieh Municipality Completes the First Phase of Financial Settlement, Securing Rights Worth More Than NIS 6.8 Million
Al-Dahrieh Municipality has completed the first phase of the financial settlement process with the government, in cooperation with the Ministries of Local Government and Finance, the Water and Energy Authorities, and other relevant government institutions. This represents an important step toward strengthening the municipality’s financial and administrative stability.
According to the financial settlement statement, the debt recorded against Al-Dahrieh Municipality amounted to NIS 9,995,520, while financial rights and entitlements owed to the municipality were calculated at a total of NIS 6,816,421, bringing the net outstanding balance after the settlement to NIS 3,179,099.
This achievement represents tangible progress in the municipality’s financial reform and debt reduction efforts, as well as in organizing mutual financial obligations, strengthening financial management, and addressing outstanding financial files.
Mayor of Al-Dahrieh Municipality, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaiseh, emphasized that the municipality will continue its reform approach and work to improve its financial situation by reducing debt, resolving outstanding financial matters, and overcoming challenges with ministries, government institutions, and official departments.
Completing the financial settlement is an important step that will enhance the municipality’s ability to benefit from developmental and service projects, as well as various funding programs available to local authorities.
