From the Old Livestock Market Area in Al-Dhahiriya

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality continues to implement the “2026 Internal Roads Maintenance, Rehabilitation and Greening Project in Al-Dhahiriya”, funded by the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF), as part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and improve the level of services provided to citizens.

 

The project is part of the municipality’s efforts to improve the condition of internal roads and streets, enhance traffic safety, and improve the urban appearance of Al-Dhahiriya, contributing to a better quality of life and a safer and more organized environment for residents.

 

The project includes a number of important works, including:

 

✓ Expansion and rehabilitation of several internal streets.

 

✓ Construction of stone retaining walls along a number of city streets.

 

✓ Installation of concrete road shoulders to strengthen roads and improve the safety of road users.

 

✓ Construction and rehabilitation of sidewalks to better serve pedestrians and improve movement throughout the city.

 

✓ Greening and beautification works to enhance the visual appearance of the streets.

 

✓ Installation of rainwater drainage networks to reduce water accumulation and protect the roads.
