Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Continues Five-a-Side Football Field Maintenance under the Community Recovery and Job Creation Project

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality continues maintenance works on the municipality’s five-a-side football field at Al-Dhahiriya Municipal Park, as part of the Community Recovery and Job Creation Project, within its efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance public safety, preserve public facilities, and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

 

The project is part of government efforts to strengthen the resilience of local authorities, create temporary employment opportunities, and improve essential services provided to citizens through the implementation of the Community Recovery and Job Creation Project, under Component One: Labor-Intensive Infrastructure.

 

The project is funded by the World Bank, in partnership with the Palestinian Fund for Reconstruction and Development, with support from the Government of Canada through the World Bank, and implemented through the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Ministry of Local Government, and Palestinian Ministry of Labor.

 

The project includes renovating the field’s grass surface, maintaining the surrounding fence, and carrying out general maintenance works on the field’s stands, contributing to improving the field’s readiness and ensuring that it continues to serve members of the local community.
