Dahariya Municipality Signs $2 Million Agreement to Complete Finishing Works of Dahariya Governmental Hospital
Ad-Dhahiriya Municipality and congratulations to the city of Dahariya: A $2 million agreement has been signed to begin the completion project for the Dahariya Government Hospital, funded by Arab Funds and implemented by PECDAR.
The Mayor of Dahariya, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awayseh, signed the implementation agreement at the PECDAR headquarters in Ramallah. The signing took place in the presence of the Municipality Director, Ahmed Qaysiya, and the PECDAR team, represented by the President of the Palestinian Economic Council for Development and Reconstruction (PECDAR), Mohammad Abu Awad, Eng. Raed Anabtawi, and the executing companies, Al-Musleh and Atlantic Contracting.
The Mayor, Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awayseh, confirmed that this grant will cover the full completion of the fourth floor and half of the third floor. These floors will serve as wards for the pediatric and maternity departments. Additionally, the maternity and internal medicine departments will be fully developed under this grant.
Furthermore, the ground floor will be renovated to house outpatient clinics. The project also includes the rehabilitation of outdoor yards, perimeter walls, and other hospital facilities. He noted that the implementation is scheduled to begin on March 3, 2026.
During the signing, Eng. Al-Awayseh stated that the municipal council, within its vision, seeks to develop the hospital to provide comprehensive services to citizens. He extended his gratitude to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Arab Funds, and PECDAR for their efforts in completing this vital phase, which will have a major impact on the region and its health sector.
