Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Launches the “Al-Dhahiriya Is More Beautiful” Initiative to Promote Cleanliness, Volunteerism, and Community Partnership

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality has launched the “Al-Dhahiriya Is More Beautiful” initiative as part of a community campaign aimed at promoting a culture of volunteerism and environmental protection. The initiative includes cleaning and beautification activities at several key locations across the city, with broad participation from governmental, civil society, youth, and volunteer organizations.

 

The initiative comes as part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to improve the urban landscape, strengthen the values of social responsibility, and encourage residents to take an active role in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of their city, thereby contributing to a healthier and safer environment for all residents.

 

The municipality called upon the residents of Al-Dhahiriya, local institutions, and community organizations to actively participate in the campaign, emphasizing that its success depends on collective cooperation and teamwork, based on the belief that maintaining the cleanliness of the city is a shared responsibility.

 

The initiative is being implemented in partnership with a number of national and community institutions, foremost among them the Palestine Red Crescent Society, the Palestinian Civil Defence, the Youth Council, and various institutions in Al-Dhahiriya. This partnership reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration in serving the city and its residents.

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality confirmed that the “Al-Dhahiriya Is More Beautiful” campaign will continue to cover different neighborhoods and areas throughout the city. It forms part of a broader plan aimed at raising environmental awareness, promoting positive behavior, encouraging volunteer work, improving the city’s overall appearance, and strengthening residents’ sense of belonging.

 

The municipality concluded its call by stressing that community participation is the cornerstone of successful volunteer initiatives and that joint efforts will help make Al-Dhahiriya cleaner and more beautiful, while presenting a strong model of cooperation and social responsibility.
