Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Announces a Call for Bids to Supply Waste Containers and a Vertical Hydraulic Cardboard Baler

As part of its ongoing efforts to improve solid waste management services and enhance environmental sustainability, Al-Dhahiriya Municipality has announced a call for bids for the supply of waste collection containers and a vertical hydraulic cardboard baler. The procurement is being implemented under the Small Projects Fund for Municipal Development Policy, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through Engagement Global gGmbH – Service for Development Initiatives.

 

The project aims to strengthen the municipality’s solid waste management system by improving waste collection, supporting cardboard sorting and recycling operations, and enhancing environmental services. These efforts contribute to cleaner public spaces, more efficient resource utilization, and the achievement of sustainable development objectives.

 

The Municipality invites qualified companies and experienced suppliers to participate in the bidding process in accordance with the technical and administrative requirements outlined in the tender documents. The scope of supply includes waste containers, a vertical hydraulic cardboard baler, installation, initial commissioning, staff training, technical support, and the manufacturer’s warranty as specified in the procurement documents.

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality emphasized that all bids must be submitted in full compliance with the published terms, conditions, and deadlines. Interested bidders are encouraged to complete all required documentation to ensure a transparent and efficient evaluation process.
