Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Announces Water Distribution Schedule and Urges Residents to Recharge Their Prepaid Water Meters

As part of its ongoing efforts to improve water services and ensure equitable access to water across all neighborhoods, Al-Dhahiriya Municipality announces its water distribution schedule for Sunday and Monday, June 8–9, 2026, covering several areas throughout the city.

 

The distribution program includes Al-Nimra, Wadi Al-Nar (1) and the Bank of Jerusalem area, Al-Shalmi area extending from the old Anab Al-Saghira Mosque to the residence of Mr. Raja Shtat, Haret Al-Sheikh and the Martyr Shadi area, the Old Town, North Abu Njeim and Iraq Aoun, as well as Al-Deir Al-Alali.

 

The municipality kindly requests residents to ensure that their prepaid water meters are sufficiently recharged before the distribution period to guarantee uninterrupted access to water services. Residents are also encouraged to recharge their meters according to their actual water needs in order to support fair distribution and enable all subscribers to benefit from the available water supply.

 

The municipality emphasizes that water pumping during the announced period is not tied to a specific hour and will be carried out according to the operational schedule of the Water Department. Residents are encouraged to follow municipal announcements regularly and cooperate in ways that support the public interest and the efficient management of water resources.

 

Al-Dhahiriya Municipality also calls on citizens to use water responsibly, avoid unnecessary consumption, and report any leaks or technical issues that may affect the efficiency of the water network, helping to improve service quality and ensure sustainability.
