Council of Ministers Declares Sunday an Official Holiday on the Occasion of Easter

The Council of Ministers announced that Sunday, April 12, 2026, will be an official holiday across all ministries and government institutions in celebration of Easter.

This holiday comes as part of respecting religious and national occasions and providing citizens the opportunity to celebrate in an atmosphere of joy and peace.

 

The Council also confirmed that official working hours will resume as normal the following day, calling on everyone to use this occasion to promote values of love, tolerance, and unity among the people. It also expressed its wishes for this occasion to return with goodness, prosperity, and blessings for all.
