Al-Dhahiriya Municipality Announces a Tender for the Design, Construction, and Operation of a Solar Power Plant with a Battery Energy Storage System under the SHAMSI Palestine Program.
Al-Dhahiriya Municipality, through Al-Dhahiriya Electricity and Alternative Energy Company (P.L.C.), announces a competitive public tender for the design, supply, construction, and operation of a grid-connected photovoltaic solar power plant equipped with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), including operation and maintenance services for a period of three (3) years, in accordance with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.
This project is part of the SHAMSI Palestine Program, which aims to develop solar energy and energy storage projects for local government units in the West Bank. It is partially funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with additional bank financing provided through the Arab Islamic Bank, under the supervision of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority (PENRA) and the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG).
The Municipality invites classified and qualified contractors specializing in renewable energy and electrical installations to submit their bids in accordance with the conditions and qualification criteria specified in the tender documents. Bids must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes: one containing the technical proposal and the other containing the financial proposal.
